3 month pictures (a little late)

We know that Taylor is a bit past 4 months now, but we've been lacking in pictures (and time) the last few weeks so I thought I would share some pictures from her 3 month "photo shoot". Enjoy the baby with a thousand faces!

As a side note: For those who want to know, here are her 4 month stats that we got this past Monday:
14lb 4 oz (75th %tile) - little chunker is filling out!
26 inches (95th %tile)

One of the big "Firsts"!

Taylor's first time rolling over! Well, it was more of a flop from her belly to her back, but we'll take it!

Her actual first time happened at daycare, but the first time that we got to witness it we caught on video. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Taylor had her first Thanksgiving at Grandma's house this year. She even had a pretty dress to wear for the event. Maybe next year she'll get to eat some of the food!

Taylor's first trip to Texas!

This past weekend, Taylor Jean got to take her first trip to Texas. We were a little nervous to make our first trip with an infant, but we had no reason to worry, she was fantastic! It also helped that Grandma came with to act as traveling nanny and to have an extra set of hands. We were amazed by how well Taylor did on the planes (only fussed after we landed each time) and kept up with us most of the weekend. She even made it to her very first UT tailgate. The trip was filled with many "firsts" and we couldn't have asked for a more stress-free family vacation.

First plane ride, bright and early:

Meeting Scott and Tanya's 2 year old daughter, Samantha. She was such a doll with Taylor, we even heard her soothing her with soft "shh's".
Her first tailgate, Taylor with some of the crew:

Game day outfit, all set to go! She didn't quite make it to the game, but she and grandma watched it back at the house while Al and I got to enjoy the live action. It was a great game to catch!

Meeting the Godfather for the first time, Kolin. I think she approved.
Taking a picture before we bought more UT gear for the little one:

First time meeting her Mawlene (great-great grandma). Five generation picture, Taylor, Al, Dale, Mimi and Mawlene:

First picture with little Nicholas. Suzanne and Keith's little one who was born exactly 7 weeks after Taylor. Look! He's trying to hold her hand:

Happy Halloween

Taylor's first Halloween was a bit uneventful, but she at least got to dress up! She helped hand out some candy and saw some of the neighbor kids, but then it was fussy-time and she wanted out of her costume and into some comfy pjs. Before that though, grandma and grandpa got to stop by and say hi. Thank you to Aunt Ann and Uncle Joe for getting our little Pea this costume before she was born! It fit great!

Another fun weekend

Of course it was game day again Saturday. Taylor had a chance to try out yet another outfit. Here's a shot of her and Al hamming it up before the game.

Soon after we moved to our neighborhood, we were fortunate to meet David and Megan. They are from Dallas, UT alumn and live 3 blocks from us! They're adorable son, Evrett, is 16 months old and he and Taylor love watching the games together. He's teaching her everything he knows!
On Sunday, we celebrated my mom's birthday out in scenic Stillwater. It dawned on all of us that we're so used to my parents being around Taylor, that we neglect to actually capture any of the moments on camera. So here's a shot finally! Grandpa and Grandma hanging out with Taylor at Stone's.

Now time for the family photo op that we haven't had many of. Back drop is actually Wisconsin across the river. We chose not to walk on the path since it seemed to be under 4 feet of water!

Big Weekend

The weekend started out with Taylor's 2 month check up. It was a good appointment if you don't count the round of shots she was given. So begins our fun with vaccinations!

Taylor showing off her 3 colorful bandaids. She was such a trooper!
Stats: 11 pounds (55th percentile) 23 3/4 inches (93rd percentile) - Long baby!

Loving that tongue of hers:

Then the weekend turned out to be a lot of fun when her Nana, Aunt DeeDee and cousin Deidric came up to visit from Kansas.

Game Day

September 1st, 2007 marked a historic moment for our family, it was Taylor Jean's first UT football game day. Fortunately for her she slept through the dismal 21-13 showing against Arkansas State (who???), but the ground work has been laid for her future as a Longhorn fan.

Game day decision. What shall a girl wear?? Thank you to our friends and family in Austin who made sure that she was all set for Saturday. We're amazed at how many different Longhorn infant outfits there are!

So you're saying I'm a Longhorn??
